Method Inventories

Method Inventories provides inventory services to landlord and letting agencies, when they approached Xaruva in early 2006, they had big plans for their business and a new Inventory application was central to this.

Xaruva was tasked with building a complete inventory creation tool for Method Inventories, the company had outgrown typical office software and knew a well designed bespoke application which could handle all the landlord, unit and image processing would deliver big gains in performance and quality.

The software had to simple to use, yet still be capable of outputting the huge variety of items and conditions used by Method Inventories.

After much discussion a rapid development process began, with a mock-up build being created quickly after the intial specification was determined, from that point updates were constantly produced by Xaruva, until after numerous development cycles, the final product was created.  The use of a rapid development process meant that the program was built through successive small revisions, with each update bringing new or improved functionality, this meant that Method Inventories were always able to see how the software was developing and afforded them the opportunity to refine the program, or alter the specification considerably without adversing affecting the previous development work.

Many of the features of the software are totally unique, something which Xaruva found a refreshing challenge.

Choosing Xaruva to develop our software was a big decision and one that we are delighted with.  They have always been professional in their approach and happy to discuss any aspects of the software throughout it's development.  The overall result is a software system that has exceeded our expectations and this is why we intend to continue to use Xaruva for future software development.
